My toilet has been broken since Friday July 25th and it is not fixed. I called the manager’s office and was told to call an emergency number. When I called the main Portico office today Troy the manager of Porticos answered the phone, I explained what the situation was. He was extremely short and very rude. I don’t recall anyone in the service business being so rude and anti customer service than Troy. If this was my business this employee would be fired, gone…

I would give 0 stars if I could. I have NEVER written a review before for ANYTHING, which shows how much this is needed. Do not rent from this property management. They are so unprofessional and try to get as much money from you as they can. My lease ended at the end of May and I wrote them a written notice and mailed it to the property management over 60 days prior to moving out. This is a horrible property management company! I should have read the reviews first. Stacy who is a property manager at The Empire Building in Milwaukee lied to me to get me to sign a lease for not a year, but 18 months. As soon as I moved in the issues began. There was noise every day and every night at that place, loud music, people upstairs being loud late at night and early in the morning, the neighbor next door had her TV so loud every night, I had to get ear plugs and that didn't even help much. My apartment was lovely and the price was reasonable. But, broken items were not fixed the entire time I lived there. Smoke detectors were left unfixed. I ended up buying my own. The mirror in the bathroom was removed and not replaced for 2 weeks. The office is over worked I guess. I would often get the wrong information mailed to me. DO NOT RENT HERE, THEY WILL SCAM YOU OUT OF YOUR MONEY. HONESTLY LIVE ON THE STREET INSTEAD IF YOU HAVE TO. If you do make the unfortunate decision of living in one of these old, run-down buildings, Katz will not send you your security deposit back to the address you originally put down after moving out unless you go on your own time to call them without any prior notice from them to do so.
