I can't really review anything for this Keke's in Lakeland. I've been to the one in cape coral and it was great. Best pancakes ever! But today we stopped in Lakeland. We were told 45 min wait and it was a mistake to stay. We waited 40 checked time and we're politely told it's probably another 30-35 minutes. We left. What a waste of time. Said they were short staffed. So the food was probably good as we'd expect, but I can't comment on that. Sorry
I want to give a positive review but it is really 50/50. Waitress was nice and totally tried her best to right the situation. Friend ordered an omelette and I ordered a BLT. Omelette looked good and the hashbrowns were decent. My BLT? Not so much. It came out a full 5mins after the Onelette. It looked like just 2 pieces of toast. When I lifter the bread it was literally 2 very very thin slices of a Roma Tomato, a half piece of lettuce, and one piece of bacon broken up and distributed between the 2 halves of the sandwich. ... read more
