Save your time. Food is pretty good but the service ruins it. My child's food came out 20 minutes after everyone else's, and i had to ask for it. Waitress didn't stop by once to check on us, i needed several condiments, straws, and napkins, but my food got cold before i got anything. Pancakes and waffles were good, they have a good idea.. maybe order that to satisfy your sweet tooth but definitely get it to GO. Hi i was in Ocala the other day and with the multitude of places to dine we decided to try your cafe -- our waitress was awesome -- place clean food ok -- i give places 1 of 2 ratings again or been there done that which is what you are getting and here is why -- i am on a restricted diet-- cant have carbs so i ordered a cheese steak omlet $11.99 pricy but ok .. could not eat the sides of toast and homefries instead of prorating my meal i got charged $11.99 for omelet only and an additional $2.95 for a dish of cottage cheese ... read more
This is a terrible place. The food is over priced, and the wait is long. A family of three arrived slightly before us, and they will be finished eating even before we start. Our waiter is rude and took s long while to get back to us. I hate this place, and well never come back.
I love Keke's but this particular site's service was subpar. In cities where they are 3x busier, it took 30+ minutes to get an omelette, bacon burger, and wrap (embarrassingly basic....with store bought kettle chips!!!!)SMH. Simple meals, simple customer service (smile, act like you are interested in serving). Not hard to ask.
Would give a ZERO... Not a good first impression. First time there and got a to-go. After sitting for 20 minutes, I get up and ask if it normally takes this long. Response was 'no ma'am.' Mind you the place was less than half full... So why did they just let me sit instead of checking? Waited another 5-10 minutes while 'they were getting it together.' The server who took my order couldn't care less. No concept of customer service. The presentation is obviously a thing for them but they need to focus more on the actual taste... read more
My wife and I tried Keke's Breakfast Cafe, at lunch, for the first time yesterday, and came away less than impressed. The place was half empty, but were told it would be a couple of minutes before we were seated. To start, the server breezed by us, after we sat, with a "be right back" comment. Five minutes later, she comes back. We ordered iced tea and coffee, which she brought in a timely fashion. We ordered a vegetable wrap and a portobello panino. Terrible service, we were told 1 hour and we waited for 2 hours and 15 minutes. Hostesses were very rude.
Sort of underwhelmed. Restaurant was quite busy but maybe this is the new bright object syndrome. Ordered a ham and cheese omelet and included were home fries and English muffin. Omelette comes with ham sprinkled over top but couldn't find any inside. Home fries were greasy and soggy. Same with English muffin, soggy. And had to dig deep to find the warm areas on anything. My sister and I love a well cooked breakfast. We ate at KeKe yesterday with every hope of finding a good new place. We arrived at 10:20 am and it was not busy. Our server said business is growing and some issues in the kitchen were being resolved. We ordered waffles with the request that the waffle be hot and crisp. It arrived with an overdose of powdered sugar. ( we didn't know how that the sugar would be added ) and importantly is was tough and soggy.
