I was seated promptly and greeted by my server quietly. Ordered Pancakes, grits and sliced tomatoes. The pancakes were a little bit tough and I had never seen that before. Tomatoes were pink and flavorless. IMO when sliced tomatoes are on the menu they should not be served if they're not red and ripe. Food was ok but as you see there were definitely some issues. This was our first time to Keke's.There was an issue with the kitchen being slow. But our server, Maddi was awesome! She was very attentive and made sure that we were happy and although the kitchen was slow, she made our experience very enjoyable. The food was good. Will ask for her the next time we come back.

We drive all the way to this Keke's because Michelle, our server is just excellent! Ask for her and you will receive exceptional service. I'm a regular reviewer of service and this is the best place to have breakfast. French toast, omelettes, eggs, toast simply outstanding. Food is delicious.....when you get it. Service is slow, unapologetic and meh at best. Metro Diner is where you need to be.
