After being super excited to finally visit Keke's for brunch, our experience was extremely disappointing. We waited over an hour for our table, only to discover--after repeatedly checking in with the hostess--that our party had somehow been marked as already seated. When we brought the issue to their attention, we were told they could no longer accommodate our group and were unable to offer any alternative solution, including splitting us into smaller tables. Absolutely TERRIBLE SERVICE!!!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. We arrived at 11:30am and were told 30 minutes to wait. We received a text ten minutes later saying our table was ready.. we walk up a family of three with a 1 year old who was very hungry. Certainly all restaurants have a bad day on occasion. We visited KeKe's at 11:25 AM on a Friday, and of 11:40 AM we had yet to be acknowledged, although the restaurant was not really busy. No water, no coffee, no concern whatsoever. Plenty of servers and employees around, so we gave it a few more minutes before we finally got up and walked. We arrived for breakfast with 1 party of 7 ahead of us. And we had 5. We knew it was pretty busy so we just sat down and waited while looking through the menu. There was no one else waiting other than us. 15 minutes later a couple came and asked for a table for 2 and got seated immediately... what the heck? It's not like they sat in a table for 2 only. They sat in a booth that could easily seat US. You know, the people that came FIRST. We left immediately and went to IHOP down the street.
The eggs were overcooked and the pancakes tasted like burnt cardboard. Interestingly, the kids silver dollar pancakes tasted fine. Whatever.... not coming back.

***NOT BLACK-OWNED*** A friend told me that this restaurant was Black-owned, but it's not. Total bummer! I was excited to support a Black woman entrepreneur, since the landscape of Black-woman-owned franchise ownership is thin. I came here with my husband for breakfast and we were so disappointed. The food was so bad neither of us finished it. I think this is the worse food I've had from a restaurant in a while. I ordered a cheese grits which was okay and stuffed turtle French toast since the server recommended it as a good representation of the restaurant. Placed an online order at 11:34am it's 1:30pm I've been up there twice still no food asked for the Gm's info they gave me a Google number yes this is a one and done for me . You shouldn't have to wait for 2 hours to get pickup and I spent over $100 dollars. Oh just for the food order wasn't complete and it was cold yeah I won't ever waste my money again

On entering I saw the table being cleared- all looking dried up and only half eaten. Then I realized the waitress was an uneducated waiter. I ordered and she did not listen to me but tried to get my order larger. Then when it came the French toast tasted like it was fried on a grill in rancid oil. I told the waitress.
