Kingsley Manor has been beyond wonderful for my Mom! She had been at one of the large corporate retirement communities for a couple of years. While that experience was decent, it lacked the caring for the residents we hoped for. We then ran into a friend - Grant Edelstone - that had spent decades running senior facilities. Grant recommended Kingsley Manor and he put us in touch with Jean Weber. Jean has been beyond tremendous in every way! She set up a tour. My sister's sight was failing so we searched for the right place for her. We visited many retirement communities, but nothing compared to Kingsley. She moved in in 2018 and quickly made friends. Here she had gardens and safe walkways as well as a rich social life. Sadly, she passed away right before Covid changed all our lives. We are so lucky to have found and been accepted into Kingsley. The staff is friendly, happy AND have seemingly limitless patience and calm with our grouch of a grandfather with declining mobility, hearing, and reasoning issues. They welcome our visits, the grounds and common rooms are lovely, the dining is great, and service is swift and happy. Thanks Front Porch admin for creating such a comforting experience for our family member!

Kingsley Manor is a wonderful community of caring residents , caregivers and staff. The food is great and they do everything they can to make the residents happy. They have lots of activities and field trips to interesting places to keep the residents active and happy! My sister loves living there!

I would like to say how wonderful Ann and the staff are. I had to make quick arrangements for my Uncle to move into an assisted living facility. I was amazed at how accommodating Kingsley was to help us. The living areas are very sufficient. The food is good and they have plenty to choose from. The personal needs that we were in need of were met. Everyone that I came in contact with has been very helpful and kind. Thank you again Kingsley, Debbi

I recently had to make the difficult decision to place a family member in an assisted living home when his level of care exceeded what our family could provide. From the first time I met the administrator, I was put at ease. It was apparent that the focus of this facility is the residents not profit. I later learned that the facility is not-for-profit and supported in great part from endowment(s). The staff are caring and attentive. My mother has now been living at Kingsley Manor for almost a year. My mom and I looked throughout California for two years before finding Kingsley; we are so glad/fortunate we were patient and didn't settle for less than all that Kingsley offers. The campus is as grand as UCLA, where I got my B.A. degree. Kingsley's extraordinary architecture and its exquisite gardens have the feel of a museum or fine hotel. Kingsley Manor is truly a great place to work and a wonderful place for residents to live in. I have been an intern here for around three months and I have had the opportunity to get to know the staff and the residents well. The staff works extremely hard to make sure every resident's needs are met. The staff puts their heart into every job they have.
