Quality Dental Work Had two cavities filled today - Doc was replacing some very old silver fillings and made the entire tooth look like it never even had a cavity. The quality of the work is top notch - these guys are good.

Quality service, but scheduling a little bumpy. I have been a patient of Kirkwood for nearly three years. Mostly for cleaning and periodic Xrays. Service has always been good, and on time. For this visit, however, I had a gum problem a couple of weeks ago and asked for a session with a dentist for an evaluation, in conjunction with my scheduled cleaning. I wouldnt go that far, but I dont mind going, I dont like getting a cap put on. The hygienist was very good, she gave good suggestions for my personal situation. I had my teeth cleaned and she was thorough and precise. Last year when I had to have crown done, I thought that the doctor was a little rough, The crown still causes me problems, I cant chew gun and I did this when I wanted to smoke a cigarette. great service but at a price I am a disabled VET using Delta Dental as insurance. I love the quality of service but can not continue to pay the high payments. The first crown set me back $600 because Delta Dental did not cover much of the crown. Now my second crown and filling will cause me to pay over $1000 more dollars. Shortly I will be forced to go elsewhere.

Too much pain I have never left Kirkwood Dental in as much pain as I did yesterday. I have been a patient there for over 45 years. The digging from the cleaning was something I have never experienced The poking from the charting was painful (never has been before) I don't recall my regular hygienist ever going that deep and poking me. I left with my gums swollen and bleeding and my gums are still sore this morning. I was not a happy camper after this visit.

Hygienist Appointment with Tina I had an excellent experience with Tina today during my cleaning appointment, no different than previous experiences with Tina. Tina is very conscientious to perform a thorough cleaning and inspection. She provides detailed explanations for each procedure being exercised. At the conclusion of each visit, Tina repeatedly reminds me of the value of flossing, without scolding. She is starting to have a positive influence on me and I have been giving flossing more consideration! Tina's a keeper.

My appointment was at the Kirkwood Highway Office. Hygenist was friendly and did a nice job on my teeth. Dentist needs some people skills: he hardly said two words to me from the time that he introduced himself and didn't even offer a hand shake.

I like the dentist office there only it was a bit confusing - on the last visit I was told my dad would have a tooth pulled and a cap today and then he only had a cap started. Other than that the visit for both of us went well.
