It was my birthday, I picked it because we had gone there in the past and it was good. Having a birthday on Christmas and finding a decent restaurant can be difficult. We were seated in a room that had a very large group with a leader which had a leader who had to speak very loud to the group. While I think it was nice they were able to have a dinner together. Made reservations through Open table for 5:15 pm and was seated immediately. Ambiance was nice and dimly light for an intimate setting. Garlic bread was complimentary and was soaked in garlic butter. We ordered the soup of the day which was broccolini. Not thick and not too watery. Tasted good but needed a bit more seasoning which I did by adding some pepper to it. We loved the food and the service. It was kinda loud as the acoustics are not geared to quiet conversation. When the crowd thinned a bit, the noise level went down. One of the better things about high end places is generally the noise is less. I want to be able to enjoy my company.

Very nice quiet family Christmas Eve dinner. Everything was great a little light on the value side though. Love the way the restaurant is broken up to allow a more intimate experience ad limit noise.

This was our 14th year coming to Lastrada on Christmas Eve. It has become a family tradition. As always, you did not disappoint. “Tucci” was welcoming and so energetic upon our arrival. What a great front person to have! And our server, Lia was fantastic. The food was amazing, the ambience was great. Love sitting in the back by the wine rack. Truly makes the whole experience! Thank you all for working so hard every single time we are there, and I’m sure every time we are not there. Definitely a Reno gem!! See you soon.
