Fantastic service. Great value. Extensive menu with options for all. A must when staying at the Row.
I have spent years in Italy and enjoy the food of different regions, specifically because the importance of fresh. So I was looking forward to enjoy La Strada. First I called ahead specifically because I have an allergy to sulfa and was insured by the young lady that answered the phone that they did not use canned foods and everything was made fresh before I made a reservation. Excellent service. Artichokes are addictive. Ravioli and lasagna always good. Sautéed spinach with the red pepper flakes is yummy.
The ambience is very elegant, quiet, and the wait staff is on top of everything. The maitre'd asked where we were from and when we told him Albany, NY he said he was from a neighboring town. What a small world! We had a very nice chat. I ordered the veal parmigiana and my friend had the chicken parmigiana. Both meals were wonderful. We couldn't finish all of it. Top notch!
Always great food and we ate our favorites, mushroom ravioli and veal piccata. New favorite server, Jack! He was entertaining and incredibly efficient.
We enjoyed our dining experience at La Strada, we had the Veal Piccata and the Cavatelli & Prawns Alla Vodka. Everything was delicious with one small thing. A bit too much sauce on the Prawns. We still love everything about the dinner!
We dined in the bar. Cozy and excellent service. We dine at La Strada frequently. Our meal was excellent. We had noticed the portion sizes and original preparations had changed over the years BUT this meal was a return to larger portions and what made us love the food.
