Welcome to Lafayette Veterinary Care Center We are a full-service veterinary animal hospital and pet resort. We offer an array of services, including wellness and preventive care, surgery, reproductive services, house calls, boarding, training, and more. Our practice has grown over the years from two to eleven doctors, and we are now the largest veterinary practice in six parishes We are a large group with multiple talents, and we foster a collaborative environment to ensure your pets receive the best care possible.

I was so amazed that there are Vet services open 24 hours! I moved here from VA and that was unheard of. Not only that but the front desk is very good and helpful. The Vets are just so kind and caring. They are all very accommodating and friendly. I love going there just to see the folks that are working. They took good care of my dog, Dolce. This whole operation is top notch and I appreciate them all so much. Big hug to my animal lovers! ♥️

The PLAYGROUND offers incredible doggie daycare! Our golden retriever puppy expends so much puppy energy and learns so much from the other dogs about socializing and obedience! The PLAYGROUND changed everything for us at home such as almost zero destructive chewing, much calmer because she does not have pent up energy, understands and follows commands, etc… The staff is outstanding in every way, so caring, helpful, and friendly! On a scale of 1-10, the PLAYGROUND is a 20!

Would highly recommend. Had to have our precious pet euthanized. Staff was so gentle and compassionate with her and us! Very impressed and appreciated.

If 6 stars were possible I would rate a 6. Dr. Dartez is amazing, wonderful, kind and very caring. She helped us through end of life care for my 17 year old dachshund who had lymphoma. Though that was as heartbreaking as anything could have possibly been Dr. Dartez' kindness was perfect. Her love for pets is so evident.

All staff members are amazing. Their focus is on your furbaby the whole time! Our Bandit is lucky to have Dr. Alex as her vet. She is friendly, open to questions, takes great care in Bandit's yearly visit and was NOT exasperated at all! Bandit is not an easy patient and that is putting it lightly! The whole time Dr. Alex and her nurse continued to talk to Bandit gently, doing their best to calm her even though Bandit continued to growl and be difficult. Am a maltese breeder and had a mom that needed a c section on a sunday afternoon. Was very impressed with LVCC, the courtesy, effort and attention by staff was to be admired!. Dr Emily Devall and her assistant, Brittany, were quite competent and knowledgeable. My mom and her puppy were certainly in excellent hands! would highly recommend LVCC.
