Welcome to Lafayette Veterinary Care Center We are a full-service veterinary animal hospital and pet resort. We offer an array of services, including wellness and preventive care, surgery, reproductive services, house calls, boarding, training, and more. Our practice has grown over the years from two to eleven doctors, and we are now the largest veterinary practice in six parishes We are a large group with multiple talents, and we foster a collaborative environment to ensure your pets receive the best care possible.

RecommendedFriendly doctors and staff. Always eager to help whatever my pup needs. I live part time here. Dr. Dusty even texted me through my visit with an unfamiliar clinic in TX when I couldn’t follow up with him in person. Thanks LVCC!

It is great that they are a 24 hour facility. Lafayette was way over due for a different emergency care option. Vets are friendly and knowledgeable. They are not cheap but worth the price in most instances.

The most loving and caring Doctors and Staff. A state of the Art Facility. No long waiting times for Lab Tests and other testing...they do it all right there. While our Cat had to stay overnight, we where called several times with updates how he is doing and about his Treatment. Everyone at the Lafayette Veterinary Care Center was so caring and knowledgeable, that we knew, our Cat is in the best hands. Every single person I’ve talked to or seen here has been absolutely the sweetest & kindest people. It is obvious they love their jobs & truly care about animals. We found this place purely by accident when my Yorkie was hit by a car...they took amazing care of him. While checking for internal bleeding the vet found a ping pong size growth on his spleen. We brought our 2 Boxers from Florida to stay in one of your Suites this past week. From the moment we spoke on the phone to book the stay at the Resort, to the daily pictures, to the pickup... the staff was professional, friendly and we felt at ease leaving our babies at Lafayette Vet Care Center.
