Our practice has grown over the years from two to eleven doctors, and we are now the largest veterinary practice in six parishes We are a large group with multiple talents, and we foster a collaborative environment to ensure your pets receive the best care possible.

RecommendedEvery single person I’ve talked to or seen here has been absolutely the sweetest & kindest people. It is obvious they love their jobs & truly care about animals. We found this place purely by accident when my Yorkie was hit by a car...they took amazing care of him. While checking for internal bleeding the vet found a ping pong size growth on his spleen. We brought our 2 Boxers from Florida to stay in one of your Suites this past week. From the moment we spoke on the phone to book the stay at the Resort, to the daily pictures, to the pickup... the staff was professional, friendly and we felt at ease leaving our babies at Lafayette Vet Care Center. My goldendoodle Waffles was playing with another doodle when all of a sudden she lets out this horrid cry and starts limping. We brought her to LVCC and they were so nice and compassionate. Totally recommend!!

When my dog accidentally ingested sugar free gum and got sick, I was worried and sad that I would maybe lose her. She’s doing a lot better a year after ( now) they explained what happened and ensured me that they would take care of her and that they did!!! Thank you for saving my baby girl !!

Just went today for the first time as my older cat got bit by something and the team they have there were amazing. I did have to wait a little in the parking lot BUT there was some emergencies that came in. And they were very upfront and communicated this right away. I appreciate the honesty and quick response. Then a nurse came and got us and walked us straight into a room. Then the nurse looked at him and within a minute or 2 the doc came in. They were super thorough, nice, welcoming and knowledgeable.
