RecommendedCould not say enough great things about this place. My pet was brought to them by a stranger for care after he was hit by a car. The vet took amazing care for him and once we were notified that he may be our pet after I had posted about him missing via Facebook, the vet went above and beyond to make us comfortable while making the hardest decision ever. I was referred here by a friend for a second opinion for one of my pets. Dr. Bordelon and staff far exceeded my expectations. The concern and compassion that they showed from the very first phone call told me I was right where we needed to be. Dr. Bordelon’s knowledge, patience and care is amazing. This facility and staff is top notch! I’m bringing my other pets here from now on too. Highly recommend them!

It’s never a good day to have to make an emergency visit to a vet hospital, but Lafayette Veterinary Care Center made it such a good experience for us! They were prompt in getting our pup the attention she needed and kept us informed every step of the way of her 24hr stay. The staff was incredibly friendly and loved on our girl as if she was the only patient. We really appreciated both the expertise and tender care we received!

This pet hospital comes highly recommended. Had to bring our pup in over the weekend for a knee injury. The staff was very compassionate and highly knowledgeable. At first I was uncomfortable at the fact we had to bring our pup to a different vet (our normal vet clinic is Reaux’s) but once we walked in, I knew immediately that Sunnie would be in good hands. If need be, we will definitely use them in the future!!

Our dog Sloop was in a car accident on 49N near Ville Platte . Animal Control agreed to take him to an emergency vet, when my husband was taken by ambulance to Alexandria. Layfatte Veterinarian Care was the first I Googled ( I was 3 States away). Sloop was taken immediately into surgery & I was updated every step of the way. I received updates, photos, & when he was strong enough, FaceTime videos. He was treated like Royalty & given expert medical care.
