Misleading, predatory company. They feed you lies just to get you to sign up. Then when you call they tell you different stories. I am just grateful I was only with them for 29 days. I was promised it was not a debt settlement company, it definitely is. This is not a debt management company. They make you go delinquent in order to make agreements with the creditors. I had five accounts and I have been paying them for two years and not one account has been paid off. My credit went from a 6:30 down to a 500 because they did not make payments. They told me that they collect the money and pay off the most aggressive creditor. If they would have paid off my accounts when they receive the money, I would only have that one account to worry about now. I have tried calling to talk to someone about paying those cards off or issuing me a full refund and now the phones have been disconnected.
Not a recommended company. I have been paying them for 3yrs and my credit is getting worse because they refused to negotiate with the creditors. This program is a scam and won't help your credit at all. I am so disappointed, it was my worse decision ever.
I would not recommend going with this company at all. I have been in their program for almost 3 years and i do not have a good thing to say about them. Firstly, they do not return phone calls, do not process requests timely and the "reasons" given for non-action are just laughable. Firstly, I received maybe 5 monthly calls in my almost 36 months to discuss the status of my account. This is supposed to be a monthly call, EVERY month. When I call to complain, nothing! Not helpful. I initially submitted 3 accounts. Added a 4th about 5 months in. The only account negotiated for about 50% was the last account because it was smaller and less delinquent. Of the other 3 all sued me. 2 were negotiated for about 80% + and the last they wanted me to make full payment on and extend my term an additional 3 + years. The said they would eliminate my fees but the amount of fees they were forgiving was not the full amount. Dont trust them at all. They will tell you alot of things and then not follow through. We had an agreement but they keep coming back wanting more money and they refuse to contact the debtors. When we get a summons they dealt with one and then ignored the other and then say it isn't their issue and they cant do anything about it because there is a judgement even though they had the information to deal with it for over a year.
Jan. 2019 I learned of this place. A representative from Lakeview came to my home and we discussed my credit card debt. We agreed on a 36 month payment of $575. To settle 4 debts that were AROUND $30,000. I clearly remember saying, "in 3 years, ill be debt free?". My answer was YES!! They would negotiate with each creditor, I was to inform them of every creditor call, and forward all correspondence to them and they would handle everything on my behalf. Couldnt be more disappointed. My contract was for 42 months of payments which I just completed. For those 42 month they made no effort to address my debt until I received threatening messages. Here we are at the end of my contract and theyve only settled about 1/4 of my debt and just told me Ill have to make an additional 28 payments or pay $10,000 to settle the remaining debt.
