When I first signed up with Lakeview Law Group, I thought they helped with debt consolidation. I found out about a month into it that they handle each account separately and work with each creditor to come to an agreement on what I can fairly pay to payoff my account. My credit initially went down but started to go back up after the first year. I was able to finish paying on the agreements, and my files were closed out. Lakeview law group are scammers.signed up 42 monthes 421 a month owed 18k to my ************* 36 months later.they want another 6k over 2 yrs...so my other creditors they 10 dollars out of my 421 dollar payment there fees is 99 a month so wheres the other 300 not going to debt.I have 6 more months and our contract is over.Where is my money ?I will under no circumstances will agree to anything outside of original agreement.Most likely I will be taking them to court.Ruined my credit they did.For 2 years i asked for a payoff a ... read more

NOT what I signed up for. One out of 6 cards in the program. Their fees are more than payments to the debt I signed up for. I have been in the program almost a year, one of the selling points was that my credit report would only drop a few points for a few months and the report wouldn't show that my cards were "signed off" by the cc companies. Im sad to say that due to a miscommunication I missed the opportunity to negotiate a debt settlement. As the result my case will be going to court. The loan company was changing over their system therefore there was a set deadline that needed to be met. These negotiations have now been halted pending the court findings and the availability of the new system. I entered into an agreement with Lakeview Law Group in July 2023 to consolidate two credit cards. One they took care of immediately. The other card they did not do anything. I paid them monthly for almost a year. I was told that it would take a few months but many months later I was getting dozens of phone calls daily but I was told not to talk to them. It has been a year since receding a letter in the mail for Lakeview services. I listen to their pitch, which was sincere in stating theor services. I want them to get with my credit card business and get in touch. I have creditors that have been idle with no history. STAY AWAY YOU CAN SETTLE YOUR DEBT YOUR SELF! I was left out of the loop 100%. I am currently in a payment plan with them. I went to them for help because i couldnt afford my monthly credit card bills. This process started about 3 years ago now. I was under the impression and told, that my payment would be 600 dollars for the next couple of years. They ruin my credit; Id been paying them but they have not payed my creditors; now I have to pay the creditors back; dont get ruin like me; theyre only after your money and youll end up paying more.

I wish I had done extensive research before using this company. Long story short.most of your money goes to fees with very little going to escrow. Ruined credit. Not much negotiation done. Awaiting refund.
