My little dog was not responding to me so I called my vet ! I thought maybe she had a stroke and the girl I talk to told me well I guess we could see you but it will cost $417.00 because it's an emergency! Now this was my vet for my pets and my daughters pets ! But not any more ! They take toltal advantage of you when you need them the most ! I have been a client of Dr Lange and this clinic for several years. Unfortunately a very bad experience today. We have a new dog, puppy during Covid, so very fearful of new experiences/people. The vet techs were patient and kind. Dr Baxter, however, came in and immediately impatient and harsh with Reddy. She ultimately held him down and frightened him so much that he peed and pooped. I removed my puppies care from Lange Veterinary Center last week because I was told to bring my puppy in for an ultra Sound at 9:00am for my appointment. I was led to believe that this would not take much time and they would call me when they were done. 3 1/2 hours later, I called them to see what was going on with my puppy. Very disappointed that when my kitty needed to be put down, the catheter into his leg was not stabilized so that the line was knocked loose and he had to be poked another time. Not the peaceful transition that I wanted for this sweet boy. The explanation was that he moved his leg inside his carrier bag, knocking it loose himself. Well duh, maybe kitty didn't understand that he shouldn't move his leg. Maybe moving his leg was a natural instinct after being poked and prodded. when we called this business it was I'm the am between 8 and 830. we were told they do not see new patients. I explained my dog was extremely sick. we were still denied. it had nothing to do with money. we would have paid anything to save Sammy. and for the business manager of Lange that asked why didn't I post reviews on the others who denied us care. I did!

Don't know much about the owners but Monica Baker was a problem for me. She did a blood test that I didn't ask for and charged me $200, she told me she "gave* some medication for my dog...it was $80 for 14 pills and I already had some, she gave me same thing last time and I told her I took him all medication...the worst thing, she told me my dog had cancer, bone cancer, 6 months to live. She wanted to cut his leg off for $2500 I called bs...went to another vet, exray biopsy and 2 vets...no cancer. Arragant, incompetent, kno... read more

This clinic cannot handle "exotic" animals at all. What I have learned about veterinarians or doctors in general is arrogance. They get paid one way or another but that's not what I mean. When you are a doctor you have achieved a very high level of education. However, when a "doctor", refuses to reach out to another "doctor" who is generally considered to be a specialist in a certain area or animal to determine proper care or treatment for your pet or loved one things die. Took my 14 year old poodle to get checked out. Had a nose bleed and wanted 250.00 up front for an emergency! So left and went to Novac she is still there getting checked out.

Tried to treat my older orange tabby cat as having anxiety. They took him in the back to run some "tests" and he came back dripping bloody pee. The place was dirty and I would never recommend bring any pet to this place! This was supposed to be one of the better veterinary spots in town! My cat also was supposed to be treated for whatever was causing his tooth to decay. They were less than helpful and tried to charge my fiancée several hundred dollars!
