Bad Product, 2 cartridges empty after only 6 pages of printing. Terrible. I purchased in middle of June, 2021. We don't print a lot and have only printed less than 10 pages since we purchased them. Went to print something the other day and printer is telling me that 2 of the color cartridges are empty! What?! Frustrated overall with Brother and this machine, to be honest. Ink is difficult to find and when you buy from the manufacturer, you expect better results.
Poor quality Poor quality
Expensive for poor print quality and quickly runs out I decided to follow instructions and use the Brother cartridges rather than any knock off brand, but sadly both the bundle of Cyan_Magenta-Yellow as well as the black cartridge ran out incredibly fast - the magenta ran out in 1 day. I had to do a print head cleaning to take care of some blocked nozzles (apparently it needed it, as my test print showed some blockage) and after the test print, I had no magenta, it's saying the yellow is very low and cyan pretty low. do not buy Brothers ink I have a business version of Brothers printer. 2 on the 5 ink cartridges have malfuctioned on my new machine. a brand new cyan would not work from the first attempt. A black cartridge I had trouble getting it to work. it eventually started working after loading and unloading it multiple times
Consistent quality issues Not sure if quality control issues or packaging issues. But on multiple occasions the ink already leaked out and is visible in the transparent packaging. Some orders had toners with barely any ink, fresh out of the wrapper. Eventually went with third-party generics that come in a box (better protected) with no issues at half the cost.
Not recognized by printer Printer would not recognize cartridge. Unable to return.
NOT Compatible with my new printer! Despite carefully verifying the models, I received brand new cartridges that DO NOT register with the new printer. Perhaps they are knock-offs and a complete waste of money

Frustrated for the Second Time! I normally don’t have any issues with the Brother printer, nor ink. HOWEVER, the last two times I’ve flushed money down the toilet with these cartridges. I’m so frustrated. Once I installed two brand new cartridges, only one registered as new. I had to clean the printer head so many times, I used over half of the ink.
