Let me begin by saying that I have NEVER in my life left a negative review for any business, but the service provided by Dr. Leavitt and the office manager at this practice definitely warrants one. As a self-employed businessman, I am currently unable to afford health insurance, and have put off going to see a doctor for the past year or more for that reason. RecommendedI have been a patient here for 7 years. everything was ok until I actually needed them. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE FOR THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR PATIENTS. this past week I was out of town and EXTREMELY ill. I tried calling this doctor over 25 times, leaving messages on both the office line and the "on call" doctors line. and NOTHING. Do not go to this office! I have never even seen an actual doctor. When I tried to call for an asthma preventative medication refill they refuse to refill it (mind you there are 3 refills on my prescription that have just expired for some reason) they refuse to call the prescription in. They say I need to be seen once a year, it has not been a year, and during everyones panic over this current epidemic I would prefer to not be at a doctor’s office and they will not let me wait another month. Raffaella, we would love to speak with you about your experience. Our clinic policy is that patients can choose to see any health care provider they would like to see, including Dr. Leavitt. Normally, patients need to return to the clinic at least once a year for review of their maintenance medications and for additional refills. Our clinic also provides Virtual Visits and Drive Up Visits which minimizes the potential risk to both patients and staff. Virtual visits can be done from a patient's own home.
