I am taking this opportunity to review Legally Mine, LLC because I've now got over 2 years of experience with this company. The initial presentation was compelling, but the service after the sale has been excellent. We have completed all of the components of our plan of action and have found that the support we received was in many cases above and beyond the call of duty. Legally Mine has also become a sponsor of our state association and have been there to support that organization as well. I have no hesitation recommending... read more
Unethical and illegal practices. I have been asking for the legally Mine tax and accounting department to stop charging me per month $150.00. **** has refunded me each time but the billing department does not listen to **** who keeps asking them to reverse and stop the charges to me for tax accounting that I no longer need becasue I want to close my companies called Peach Medical PC, A1 Sleep LLC, and Blueberry medical. I also want to stop the charges for the asset protection as well but last time I tried to get a hold of **... read more
Buyer beware! You'll get sucked in with all their promises and all their numbers but what I should have done was read all the reviews (especially the older ones) before signing up. We signed up on a Friday which was last day of the conference. We didn't hear anything from them until Monday night after 6 - which meant I didn't get the message until Tuesday morning. By Friday afternoon our entire situation had changed and we needed to cancel. Of course, by then, we couldn't get ahold of anyone. I sent emails, left voicemails, ... read more
I signed up at a conference. After speaking with the agent following the conference, I said I didnt need the service, but I was advised the contract was binding. I paid nearly $9K services on my credit card over 12 months. I didn't use any of their products and the services didnt apply to me when filing my taxes. Therefore, I didnt want to continue after the 12 months expired. On the 12th month, I received an email stating renewal for ******************** will be automatically started unless we are told otherwise. I responde... read more
I am a mother of young children and physician. I attended a medical conference and heard the speaker and was persuaded to sign given then 'guaranteed tax savings'. EXPENSIVE MISTAKE. Our situation changed in the next few weeks; I did not change to ****; my husbands business essentially shut down; and we decided to sell the one rental we were going to fix up. After reviewing how the program did not apply to my situation anymore (this was within 1 month of signing up) with the Attorneys they referred me to ********* ******** m... read more
My wife (a dentist) viewed a Legally Mine presentation at a continuing education course. She was unsure if she wanted to use the service, and wanted to discuss with me (her husband) first. She was told that there was no obligation if she chose not to use the service, but was pressured to pay on that day in order to get a discount. ($8400 vs $14K later) After we discussed she told Legally Mine that she was not interested and requested a refund. She was referred to multiple individuals for "refund processing" and told differen... read more
I signed up with legally mine at a national orthopedic conference 22 months ago. I admit that looking back I do feel silly because I never jump on any type of offers that are presented at conferences but they were invited by the national orthopedic association and so I did trust without verifying, which cost me! They offer a complex legal plan or scheme to protect you against law suits. They are very good at scaring you into wanting legal protection. To be fair legal protection for physicians is something that is important. ... read more
I got multiple calls from the same sales guy in one day. Salesguy over-promised the capability of the legal team and ended up having to admit they were unable to handle my situation. The legal team responded promptly and professionally but the sales and "accounts team" (same guy) would not issue the refund promptly despite admitting their ineptitude. The same accounts guy will not return my calls and continues to hold $10,000 of our money. We have everything in writing and this may end up in litigation. Unbelievable for a fi... read more
If you are a small business owner at a conference, beware fear-mongering! This may be great for people with millions in assets, but WAY overdone and over-priced otherwise. Got sucked in at a veterinary conference, talked into leaving credit card number while I went to check on some things. Came back, card had been run, was assured I would be refunded if not satisfied. Took me several weeks to find out exactly what their plan was. They were going to set up my asset management in ALASKA (I live in Kansas), which was not ok wit... read more
