I ordered wholesale flowers through Lehrer's (wholesale dept is called Associated Wholesale Floris), so an old friend (with experience) could do my arrangements. Lehrer's Flower Shop was great to work with. I mainly came up with my own designs for the wedding as I like to play around with floral arranging myself, but they were very helpful when it came to staying on budget and actually helped us find flowers that were in our budget instead of trying to get us to spend more, which was what the previous vendor we were considering using had tried to do (big mistake for the other shop as they lost a potential customer). I really loved the bouquets and the majority of my floral package (they did get a couple things wrong, but I actually preferred what that did instead, because I got to take them home as they were, but I wouldn't have been able to if they had the design the way I asked). My friend called six months in advance to make sure she had the perfect flowers for her wedding- she wanted lilacs because that’s what her late mother had at her wedding. They told her to call a month before her wedding, which she did and placed an order. She followed up several times and was assured they would be ready to pick up the day before her wedding. We requested something in much detail that we were looking for. The person there promised they could make it happen for $500 so we paid the extra money. The day of our wedding we saw that what we got was not at all what we asked for. We wanted our names spelled out in flowers and it was tacky and done with wire. Definitely not work the $500 we paid and it was embarrassing having it at the entrance for all to see at our wedding.
