The interior of the Library of Congress is overwhelmingly beautiful. Every ceiling, every wall, every floor is pure art. Even if you do not enjoy reading, visit the Library simply to take in the beauty of the architecture. Admission is free and so are the guided tours, which I heartily recommend. If you have not made the trip, please do.
