The Library of Congress was far beyond any expectations I ever had. The architecture is absolutely beautiful! The exhibits were extremely educational and informative from a historical perspective. The Thomas Jefferson Library, which I had some knowledge about, far exceeded my expectations. This is a must see for anyone that has any interest in the history of the United States and the colonization of the western hemisphere.
Something I will never forget wish I had come here sooner

Take the tour....very informative. First you watch a short video. Next you're divided up and sent around the library with volunteer tour guides. It was well worth our 40 minutes. You can then explore on your own (if your children are still in to it.)
Friendly staff. Knowledge is power and this is where you can get it
Had a great time at the Library of Congress with my family. We got reader cards, explored, and I got to work from The Great Hall, which was epic. We'll definitely be back to explore more.
