The architecture alone is enough to see. Then there are exhibits to see that are dull of history. The books! Oh, I do love books. The main library is only open to the public (non card holders) two days a year, though. Presidents Day and Columbus Day.

I love the Library of Congress. Yesterday I took my 4 year old granddaughter for her first visit to the Library. The highlight for her was was when she found out that one of the buildings shares her middle name "Madison". She was also intrigued by the fountain and how the water got into it. It was a memorable day for both of us.
