Don't push activities remind you but don't push. They don't have an orientation plan for new residents. I had to figure everything out for myself.
Stay away. They do not do good care. Told us our mom eloped twice and they never informed us until we got a 30nnilotice she was being moved into memory care. Called the state to complain and called the ombudsman who said she gets lots of complaints about the facility. We also had problems with them taking four weeks to get her meds and give them to her. So delay of treatment
I will never have anyone go to Lincoln village for as long as I live! There is no staff there to take care off people! My father passed away there before we could move him to another facility! My sisters have slept in his room because he declined and no one ever came to check on him! We had to pay for extra care when entering Lincoln village and there was no care! So far we have been very happy with Lincoln Village, they have been super! They just got a new administrator and new director of nursing. Hopefully things will continue with the same quality of service
They should screen tenants background because some can be very rude and ignorant and disrespectful
Would not recommend. Always short staffed. High turnover of undertrained staff. Food is good and choices offered. Laundry is a disaster. You may or may not get your clothes back. Rooms not cleaned on a regular basis
Of course, no AL facility will ever be good enough for my parents. Just like no day care or school was ever good enough for my babies. That's because we love them dearly. That being said, when the time came to find an Age-in-Place senior community that meets both parents' needs, I did a lot of research and toured many facilities. This is a terrible institution. First of all the managing Director is never available to speak with a family member of a resident and she never returns phone calls nor provides access to requested documents. The staff is never around and according to my family member who is a resident they hide in empty rooms so they do not have to work or be available to help a resident with their needs.
