Her kindness and patience is genuine and she is always ready to listen. I never wait long for her when I have an appointment. She is the number one plastic surgeon for breast cancer in the Treasure Valley and is up to date with the latest procedures, unlike others in the valley.
I had a double mastectomy and reconstruction. She messed up my reconstruction and caused major deformation, excessive loose skin all over my breasts due to her choosing a smaller implant then what was required and asked for. I have large indentations around breasts, implants fall into my armpits when laying down which completely exposes my sternum and leaves empty flat space around my sternum. While Dr Etherington was kind and came off as informative, she really wasn’t. There were no implants to view. I was not informed that you had options on gumminess of implants, different profiles, no 3D imaging of how you’ll look, etc. I was so absorbed with surviving cancer, I didn’t research this area. I trusted her to inform me. She didn’t inform me of these choices. She made those decisions without my feedback. You will be informed that you can’t smoke for 4-6 weeks before surgery.
