I am a new resident at Revel Nevada. I chose it because it was one of the few places I found that offers both a pool and restaurant style dinning. It is on the border between Independent Living and Assisted Living. It is a very low stress environment. It is kind of like living in a hotel suite (with a full kitchen) that you furnish yourself. Revel Nevada is ideal for me. It does not feel institutionalized and you enjoy being catered to. The fact that I don’t have to worry about mortgage, cleaning person, maintenance, gardener etc. is a big plus. The staff are really wonderful and they do a marvelous job in making things easy and comfortable for you. So far, love the food - restaurant quality. Every employee and resident we interacted with, was so joyful. We could tell, right away, that this would be an ideal environment for mom. my wife and I want to live there. It's just that nice.

I would recommend them. It's the whole package. It's flexible for people who need some help but not the full range of assisted living. The staff I've interacted with seem friendly and helpful. The facility is new and clean. One caveat is apparently they've changed ownership, and they're already charging for some things they didn't charge for in the past, for example delivery of meals if people don't want to eat in the dining room.

We toured Revel and we were ready to sign the papers and move my dad in, we really liked the facility. Their meal plan here is excellent. We did not end up moving him here because the contract was too binding.

The community has a big activity calendar for the residents to choose from. The building is huge and it can take a long walk to see your loved one depending on where your loved one is. The staff has been friendly. The food is really good, from what I've tasted.
