Sat at our table and patiently waited for a table. several servers and bus boys walked by and no one acknowledged us. After about 15 minutes, we got up and walked out - and still no one acknowledged us. Oh and by the way, this is after we were greeted with " we are only serving pizza tonight!" We are definitely crossing Maciano's off if our "go to restaurant" list. Happy New Year's!!!
Smallest pizzas i have seen that are said to be large sized. I got a calzone and it had no seasoning at all, the bread had no taste and it was completely dry. Did not even end up eating it.
we switched to them from caliendos, now we have to find another pizza place. marcianos pizza has gotten so bad, they skimp on the toppings the crusts are burnt, bad pizzas all around!!! 5 pieces of pepperoni on one half of a pizza, really?!
My family ate dinner at the Winfield Macianos this evening and all three of us are physically ill. We had the linguini with meatballs. The sauce tasted of nothing but hot peppers and the meatballs were greasy, flavorless blobs of gritty ground beef. They were very tough. We live about 50 miles away so we called and spoke with the general manager who said he also prepares the food and that he ate the sauce "the day before" and it was fine. Their delivery drivers at the North Aurora location are rude! I ordered my food & when the guy came to deliver, I was waiting for him to give me the change back. After getting my change & fumbling in my wallet for more singles ( seeing that he handed me a $5 bill & $1) the driver rudely states "Just to let you know tip is not included in the price." I think the establishment fails to teach their drivers that tipping is OPTIONAL! After that statement his would've been $3 tip went to $0.
We decided to try this place, based upon multiple recommendations. Sadly, after waiting over 90 minutes, I don't think I'll care how good the pizza is. When I called to speak with a manager, she argued with me about when I had placed my order, claiming it had only been placed 45 minutes earlier. I told her my email indicated it had been placed 80 minutes ago. When the pizza finally arrived, it was just ok. I would not recommend this place.
We won't be back. It use to be a pretty good little place to eat. Not anymore, last time we ate there the food came out frozen in the middle, service was awful, asked to speak to the manager ...who just happened to be a teenager... she gave us the raise shoulder response, with a smirk �
I will never eat there cause they won't deliver to where I live which is not far from them so instead I will give my business to those that will deliver to where I live instead.
