Recently I moved from Seattle where the last time I went to the only Madison Reed there they drenched my back fully during the shampoo after getting my hair colored. Thought I wouldn't give up on Madison Reed quite yet, so thought I'd try this location in Gaithersburg. This was my 2nd visit today. I was really excited to try Madison Reed Color Bar Services - unfortunately after numerous tries on their website - I was unable to book an appointment. I then proceeded to call the phone number to book an appointment - while they were very apologetic about the website issues - the person on the phone cut me off mid-phone call - and did not complete booking the appointment. They charge 50% of total cost if service if you are 10mins or more late. It's fraudulent. They do NOT honor their 10min grace period policy at the Gaithersburg location. Do not go to Gaithersburg. They prefer to cancel and charge and make people reschedule then actually color. I was charged $37.50 for root touch up service for being 10mins late.
