Went there for highlights Thinking it would be nice to have a place to go to just for that... Well.. They absolutely ruined my hair. After wash I brushed my hair and pieces of hair was falling out ! they told me that it's completely normal to loose hair like that after a highlight !!! I can just tell you that I have been doing highlights for my entire life and this never happened before. They let the highlights too long and my hair got burnt that's the bottom of it. I have been coloring my own hair for 35 years. Always looked beautiful. I went to Madison Reed just for a change. Big mistake. They totally ruined my hair. When they tried to correct it, it was worse. They couldn't do anything else. Madison Reed doesn't have any products to correct mistakes. I went to Kevin James Salon at Alton. I have never been there before. They spent 4 1/2 hours on my hair. Kevin (the owner) Dawn the colorist worked miracle's. The whole place couldn't be more compassionate, warm and professional.
