The office runs like a well oiled machine. Very efficient with an engaged and knowledgeable staff. Dr. Shamie could not have been better. She was terrific to work with. Kind, intelligent and available for questions every step of the way. The result was perfect. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
Dr. Maloney and his team were great. So thankful to him for restoring my vision and giving me freedom from glasses and contacts. Special thanks to Dr. Barnes who went out of her way to check my recovery and even came in on the weekend to make sure I was healing well. Overall I had an amazing experience and would recommend anyone considering lasik surgery to get it done with the best!
Just had cataract surgery with vision correction. I saw great the first day. Staff and surgery were terrific. Dr's Maloney and Shamie are my first choice when I recommend surgery for my patients.

WOW! This could not have been a better experience for me. I have always been really terrified to touch or go anywhere near my eyes, even eye drops were impossible for me so I have been wearing glasses exclusively with no contacts since 2nd grade. When I went in for my consultation at Maloney-Shamie, they made me feel so comfortable and reassured me with the whole process. I had my first surgery with Dr. Maloney almost 20 years ago when I went in for Lasik. Having worn glasses since the second grade, it was life changing. So when I needed Cataract surgery, there was no question who I would call. Dr. Maloney and his team are the best. I wouldn't trust my eyes to anyone else. Even though I'm not one of his celebrity clients, I was still treated like one. Dr. Maloney personally called me after the surgery to find out how I was doing. I had my first eye surgery a week ago, so I cannot elaborate much on the results as my vision is still adjusting. However, Dr. Shamie is very caring and made me feel well taken cared of. Her anesthesiologist is also amazing and makes you feel really safe. I appreciate Dr. Shamie personally calling me the day after my surgery and the following day. I totally recommend Malone- Shamie Institute for your Vision needs.
