Dr. Maloney performed my Lasik procedure in Jan 2005. He was straight forward about the procedure, the risks and results I could expect. That candidness made me comfortable with my decision to proceed. I just returned from my annual eye exam today in Dec 2021 and the optometrist was amazed that my vision has remained 20/15 almost 17 years later. My experience at the Maloney-Shamie Vision Institute was in every respect first rate and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome. Quality of life, in my mind’s eye, is directly correlated to how good your vision may be. My bf did his Lasik with Dr Shamie early 2021 and he made me feel comfortable and confident in my decision to choose Maloney-Shamie Vision Institute for my Eye Lasik. Surprisingly! An amazing experience for a person who has been dependent on glasses all their life. Everything went so smoothly from my evaluation to my surgery. I felt comfortable in all the surroundings in which the procedure took place. The follow through from the doctor and the staff was outstanding. I "LOVE" seeing.
