WOW! This could not have been a better experience for me. I have always been really terrified to touch or go anywhere near my eyes, even eye drops were impossible for me so I have been wearing glasses exclusively with no contacts since 2nd grade. I had my first surgery with Dr. Maloney almost 20 years ago when I went in for Lasik. Having worn glasses since the second grade, it was life changing. So when I needed Cataract surgery, there was no question who I would call. Dr. Maloney and his team are the best. I wouldn't trust my eyes to anyone else. I had my first eye surgery a week ago, so I cannot elaborate much on the results as my vision is still adjusting. However, Dr. Shamie is very caring and made me feel well taken cared of. Her anesthesiologist is also amazing and makes you feel really safe. I appreciate Dr. Shamie personally calling me the day after my surgery and the following day. I totally recommend Malone- Shamie Institute for your Vision needs.

I just had the best experience and most successful cataract surgery done by Dr Shamie! Everything from the first appointment through my last post op exam was done professionally and with my comfort in mind! Both the technician and Dr Shamie explained the different choices I had for the success I was looking for. I choose pan optics and within 24 hours of the first surgery I was reading and driving without my glasses. After the second surgery (performed 1 week apart) I was using my IPAD with no glasses.
