I cannot describe how absolutely stellar of an experience I had from start to finish(ing) after choosing Maloney-Shamie Vision Institute as my provider of care in pursuing corrective vision surgery. Personally, I went with the ICL option, as I was not a great LASIK candidate. Very professional ,clean office. felt comfortable w/ every employee.The Surgery Center was excellent also. My vision is 20/20 now. I had cataract surgery. 1st time I have not had to rely on glasses or contacs. Would definitely recommend Dr. Shamie and her staff.
Dr. Maloney is a master surgeon. He removed a cataract and installed a superb new lens in about 20 minutes. I stayed awake for the entire surgery, which was like a beautiful light show. There was not the slightest discomfort. When finished, I left without an eye-patch and pretty good vision. Maloney checked in with me by phone that evening to make sure all was well.
