I was totally relaxed & I had complete confidence in Dr Shamir. I even fell asleep during the 2nd surgery. I expected my site to be a more crisper. I don’t know. I guess it wad bc the way everyone talked about it. & how good their sight was. I’m sorry my expectations were set so high. I totally expected perfect eyes when I awoke. I also, have several floaters, my eyes twitch

Dr. Shamie performed cataract surgery via laser with multifocal lens replacement. The left eye surgery occurred 3 weeks ago and the right eye cataract operation was yesterday. I deem all steps of this process to have been excellent, including making the appointment, the initial consultation, and each surgery. Aftercare is being performed by my optometrist, Dr. Hyman. The procedure went very smoothly and everyone at the surgery center was extremely kind and courteous. My cataract surgery was a complete success. I experienced no pain and can see clearly and without glasses for the first time in many years. Dr. Hura was so kind.

Dr Shamie was both extremely professional and personable making me feel very comfortable with my approaching cataract surgery. I went for the full field of vision lenses and am extremely happy with the results. I was sitting outside at a park and saw an ant on a leaf 6 feet away with a crumb that fell on the ground from our bagels! I've never had such precise vision like this in my life. Best decision I’ve made! I did same day “fast track” lasik. Dr. Shamie was nothing short of incredible. I felt so safe and cared for…can’t believe it. Should have done this 10 years ago. If your on the fence - DO IT!

I loved this experience from the moment I made my initial evaluation appointment. Everyone in the office is so professional and warm and made what I thought would be scary very comfortable. The same goes for the 2 procedures and my favorite expression for all of the experience is EFFICIENT! Loved it all!
