I was so nervous about this surgery that I postponed it until I couldn’t see anymore. It turned out to be a ‘piece of cake/non event’ Dr Shamie was wonderful, I recommend her 100%. My site is crystal clear, Thx you Dr Shamie & staff for holding my hand & getting me thru the procedure.

I found everyone at Dr. Shamies office to be warm and friendly. From the front desk persons to all the Doctors assistants and professionals to be kind and knowledgable. They all took time to address my questions and/or concerns. The offices are clean and comfortable as well. Dr. Shamie is very professional and extremely thorough.

I was totally relaxed & I had complete confidence in Dr Shamir. I even fell asleep during the 2nd surgery. I expected my site to be a more crisper. I don’t know. I guess it wad bc the way everyone talked about it. & how good their sight was. I’m sorry my expectations were set so high. I totally expected perfect eyes when I awoke. Dr. Shamie performed cataract surgery via laser with multifocal lens replacement. The left eye surgery occurred 3 weeks ago and the right eye cataract operation was yesterday. I deem all steps of this process to have been excellent, including making the appointment, the initial consultation, and each surgery. Aftercare is being performed by my optometrist, Dr. Hyman. The procedure went very smoothly and everyone at the surgery center was extremely kind and courteous. My cataract surgery was a complete success. I experienced no pain and can see clearly and without glasses for the first time in many years. Dr. Hura was so kind.
