Dr. Hura is very professional yet friendly and reassuring. Of course, I felt nervous before my cataract surgery, but he made me feel at ease. The whole team was friendly and helpful in letting me know what the procedure was going to be like and answered any questions I had. I would recommend the Maloney-Shamie-Hura Vision Institute to anyone looking to have cataract surgery.
Dr. Shamie performed 2 cataracts surgery, one week apart and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. But the journey there was also excellent. Her office had staff that is top notch. At every turn, for every question I had I got an answer, either from the doctor or a knowledgeable staff that was on top of it. Truly an exceptional experience. I would not hesitate for a second.
One great experience I want to give props to Dr. Shamie. She did a great job.
I received nothing less than exceptional service from Dr. Shamie and her team. Every email, phone call, and question was answered in a timely, polite, and caring manner. Their concern for my well being felt genuine. Their patience for my nervousness and fear of eye surgery was greatly appreciated. Dr. Shamie has a gift for helping people see a brighter world and I’m grateful to her for sharing that gif with me.

Loved the visits and warm visits and feeling comfortable to ask questions. Constant communication via text and phone calls were needed reminders when days are filled with so much to do. When going to do the procedure, the surgery location was great and all personnel were also reassuring. Meeting Dr. Hura for both surgergies was also comforting. Now after all the waiting......so amazed to know that I can see colors and appreciate all there is to see. Thank you very much!
