Doctor Hura was a very informative an helped me pick the best lens for my eyes … the surgery Was easy and quick ! .. Dr Hura was positively Connecting with me the whole time which made me feel at ease .. He texted me in the evening to see how I was and texted me back within minutes when I had a few questions ..the whole team there are compassionate and easily reached when I had any questions .. Very caring Staff .. I always felt like I was in the best of hands …

Very professional yet very personal attention. I never felt rushed and my questions were answered. The staff was friendly. I loved when I heard Dr Shamie said in an online video that she treats each patient as if we were family, I felt that especially when at the surgical center. She explained and gave comfort to put me at ease.

At age 67, my cataracts were so severe and brittle that I could no longer procrastinate and postpone surgery. After undergoing oncology treatment for a rare blood cancer, the side effects of high doses of prednisone had caused extreme clouding in both eyes and driving and reading was becoming more difficult. Quick and pain-free procedures with great results!
If I could leave more than 5 stars I would. I had cataract surgery, performed by Dr. Shamie, two months ago and could not be happier. The practice was a pleasure to deal with. All my appointments started on time. The staff answered all my questions and spent as much time with me as I needed to get answers and make decisions about the type of lens to receive. They provided a lot of education around eyes and cataracts and vision which was what I needed.

Extremely kind, professional, organized, knowledgeable. I was tired of wearing reading glasses, so with Dr. Hura’s recommendation I opted for mono vision with a UV light adjustable lens (since I had LASIK previously, this was the best option).
