Awful customer service, I came in and asked the barber to cut my hair with certain level guards he said he would and then proceeded to not he cut my hair so short when I said I'm growing it out and then telling me how effed up my hair was when I came in when in reality it looked way better I just wanted a clean up he made it a point to turn me around and cut all my hair off without my knowledge I honestly am very appalled my face was covered in hives meaning tools aren't being sanitized.. Genesis is an awesome stylist. I work until 5:30 every day and usually rush over maybe a few minutes after 5:30. I had discussed this previously when I made appointments. However, whoever answered the phone today was exceptionally rude stating, "you may have been late once, but no." This person wasn't capable of listening in the slightest, and that communication could have gone a million other ways that wasn't absurdly rude. Clean, bright, spacious location with upbeat music and access to many nearby restaurants if you want to dine while you wait. Complementary candy and relaxing leather seats for waiting are a nice touch. However, neither the barbers nor the receptionist acknowledged or initiated conversation upon my arrival. I sat ignored for roughly fifteen minutes while they greeted other clients upon their entry, conveying a clear message that the staff do not value new business. Really disappointed with the haircut I got. Took 40 min and the cut is terribly uneven . The stylist answered his cell three times during my cut and didn't wear a mask. Will not go back again.

Unless you have no schedule, plenty of time to just blow off, do not come here. They don't honor appointments, play horrible macho-rock at deafening volumes, and jus generally suck. Don't go.

First time coming here and unfortunately won't be coming back. My stylist Wendy did an exceptional job on my haircut and was very personable, however, the woman with the European accent that cashed me out completely ruined the experience for me. I clearly stated to her that I was a student and pointed at the discount student price on the menu and she continued to charge me 30 dollars. I said I thought the student price was 26 and she said, "Oh well I already charged you 30 dollars". "Next time I'll give you the discount"... read more

What an unwelcoming experience. I recently moved into the area and thought this would be a convenient location. Walked in for a haircut and was asked if i had an appointment. I said no and they said they were fully booked but that someone would be in around 20 mins. I offered to walk around and come back and gave them my phone. After 40 mins I walked back in and was told that person did not show. They offered an appointment on Sunday (the next day) I agreed to 12 noon. Had been coming here until Shannon one day took a chunk of hair off my head cause she was being careless and looks like she was in a hurry . I didn't believe my family member when they told me to stay away from that place cause they had a bad experience with a older lady cutting their hair for the first time. I should of listened. Won't be back to this place . And will be telling everybody to stay away

When they opened the West Delray location 3 years ago, they charged $25, then,$28 then $30, then 35. Several times my appointment was changed without asking. For is, Its just not worth it, especially since many Master stylists charge less for a haircut.
