After a longer than expected recovery post arthoscopy surgery for the clean up of a badly shredded meniscus I was at my wits end. My right knee was very swollen 2 and a half months later. I had limited walking endurance with lots of limping and pain. My HSS surgeon could only offer me cortisone and his firm opinion that my discomfort was because of my early stages of osteoarthritis. Dr. DeMann literally saved my life! Approximately, 12 years ago I could not walk due 2 herniated discs which gave me excruciating lower back pain and sciatica. I visited Neurologists and an Orthopedic doctor. These doctors recommended surgery, which I definitely did not want. Seaching for an alternative to surgery, walla, I was furtunate enough to find Dr. DeMann. Until this date, I have no more pain. Dr. DeMann is a miracle worker and I thank him and his staff for such wonderful treatment.
