It was a good experience! Now the splint comes off and I the patient will be doing that. The instructions say not to get it wet until the Doctor himself sees the wrist seems to be the doctor would see you when it is taken off! Not sure what that means! Would hope that will change and he would change how this is done.
It's been six years since my full knee replacement and I am very happy with the result. X-rays were taken and the knee is in good form. Also checked was my other knee. The replacement knee is definitely the better of the two. I have been seeing Dr Burt for many years and have always been very pleased with his work. He explains issues clearly and answers questions carefully.
Dr. Burt is not only a very skilled physician and surgeon, he is also very personable and very concerned and caring of his patients. He listens to his patients and performs a very thorough examination. He then carefully explains the diagnosis and all of the treatment options. Dr. Burt and his staff have always provided excellent care and a very pleasant office experience. I highly recommend them to anyone seeking orthopedic care.

I saw Dr. Burt the Wakefield office. Check in went smoothly and his nurse and x-ray technician were both super friendly. Dr. Without rushing, Dr. Burt thoroughly explained everything and gave appropriate follow up care. I would highly recommend him!
EmergeOrtho is a well managed and efficient organization and Dr Burt more than upholds the reputation. He had to deliver bad news…total knee replacement vs the expected meniscus repair. He answered all our questions and the process to surgery moved quickly. Their specialty hospital and surgery centers are outstanding. Post Op PT has gone well and again well organized, schedule and professional staff. Post visits with Dr Burt were informative and he answered all our questions. He gets a hearty recommendation from us.
Dr. But was very patient with me wanting to try less invasive procedures before an actual knee replacement. However, I ultimately needed one and I should have done it sooner. I would definitely recommend Dr. But to anyone needing any orthopedic procedures.
First visit with Dr Burt for a knee problem. Very pleasant and easy to talk to. We discuss my situation and he gave me several options. Knee feel better day after visit. Will use him for future issues
