I have been seeing Dr Burt for a number of years. First for a fractured metatarsal, then a shoulder issue and later for knee problems which finally resulted in a full replacement of one knee. He has always been attentive, courteous and seemed quite knowledgeable. He is thorough in his explanations of conditions and always solicites questions. The full knee replacement occurred 5 years ago and the result has been excellent. I highly recommend Dr Burt as an orthopedist.
Dr. Burt recently did a surgical repair for my torn rotator cuff. He explained the procedure, and the recovery process very well. As I asked questions, he patiently explained thing in easy to understand terms. Every visit has been this way. He never seems rushed, or to give me short answers.
Dr. Burt is knowledgeable, kind, and professional! He communicated well with my husband and me on the day of surgery. The rest of the staff that I encountered did a great job, especially Victoria, who took the time to hear my pre-op questions and make me feel at ease about my surgery. The front desk staff have been helpful too.The Surgical Center, Triangle Surgery Center, is absolutely stellar! I highly recommend Dr. Burt and his staff at Emerge Ortho.
Treatment for advance arthritis in both knees.
Dr. Burt utilized his great expertise to repair my shattered knee cap and reattach my wife’s broken tibia. Years later we still walk just fine.
Ensured I fully understood the scope of my injury and what was going to be required to get me healed. Three visits so far and each has been superb.
