I was 1000 miles out of town and needed Dr. Copen's confirmation of my general good health. This was for a procedure in another hospital. He refused to give this, despite my record of six month check ups over several years. I was told that he would not give his assessment of my general health without personally seeing me, despite the fact that I explained I was out of town for the summer. I went to a local "urgent care" and doctor who didn't know anything about me except what I told him.
Dr. Copen's unwillingness to act on information given by myself while at an in office visit for my ex husband cost my ex his quality of life if he survives the sepsis that resulted from Dr.Copen's egotistical negligence.
