This was a challenging client, who should have been managed more proactively and engaged much earlier in the process. Closing was delayed six days due to delays in getting documentation from the client and difficult and protracted interactions with the underwriter and a creditor. The seller became stressed and received a cure notice because of the much-delayed closing.
