I have been a member at Massage Envy for many years! I started going to the Oswego location a few years ago b/c it was closer to my house than the original location I signed up at. I sadly will not be going back to this location due to the current front office staff. Massage was wonderful but the company started charging me a monthly fee. I had prepaid massages! I have been trying to get the charges reversed for days now and the managers will not return my calls. Jamie (manager) gave my husband his private cell number but then he has someone else answered it. Robin (another manager)was supposed to call me back after a meeting and still no call. Had to put my account on hold due to an injury. I was charged my monthly fee anyway. I went in and of course they didn’t have the paperwork for the hold. This was the fourth time in 4 years that I have had to put my account on hold and each time it was messed up. I know have eight accrued massages. I asked to either have four of the massages refunded or let me use four before my account was unfrozen. No deal! This was my first official massage and it just wasn’t as I expected overall. I had Brad, he was good but told him to focus on my neck and feet and fell he focused on my back in Cavs more. My neck does feel slightly better, and I realize it was a deeper massage, but just didn’t get the best experience. The ladies at the front desk were super friendly so that’s probably why didn’t mention anything but figured I’d leave this review. Not too sure if I’ll come back
After being a member for 2+ years, I can't say I hated the service, but the fact that i had to cancel my membership because of having 3 surgeries and wasn't going to be able to take advantage of my pre-paid service??? I have been out of work for 1 year and 5 months now. Finally able to use the massages I previously paid for and they said when you cancelled you lost the previously paid credits.... I won't be using them or any massage envy for that matter ever again!
Let me start by saying that I have had a membership at this location for several years. I stay here for the massage therapists and only for that reason. There are some fabulous therapists at this location. Unfortunately, when dealing with the front desk staff, I find you must truly spell out anything you are requesting as far as appointments or administrative tasks.
