I have been seeing Dr Crawford for over a year about my shoulder. He has been very attentive, ask lots of questions and he listens. He really works the shoulder to evaluate just what may be the issue. He provides good feedback and makes recommendations to start addressing the problem before going straight to surgery. I have great trust in his ideas to make things better.
Dr Crawford is exceptionally knowledgeable in how joint issues can be related to muscles and tendons and also about referral pain (for example, pain near your shoulder blade can be a referral point for arthritis in your neck even if your neck isn’t painful.) And he’s excellent at explaining things and answering questions. He’s thorough and quick but not at all trying to rush through your appointment. I highly recommend him.
Dr Crawford did not rush my visit. He listened and explained my options in a way I understood. I had been postponing my visit because I was afraid. I am so much better I wish I’d seen him sooner. Thank you Dr Crawford.

Everything went well-
I had a bad leg injury, Dr Crawford was an active presence in the preparation days before surgery, even returning a call late on a Friday about an admin issue. On the day surgery he explained in clear detail what he would need to be doing (we asked) and post surgery walked us carefully through next steps. It was a terrible injury, but he gives us confidence in the road to recovery, we thank him and his team most sincerely for that!
Have had great conversations with Dr. Crawford before and after surgery where he has thoroughly explained the procedure and expected recovery process in ways that are clear and inspire confidence in outcomes. He has answered all of my questions and is quick to respond when I have follow-ups via the portal. I find him to be very friendly, highly competent, and recommend him fully.
By going in depth with some suggestions and concerns helped me understand my problem.
