Dr. Oliva was as advertised: speedy, kind, understanding, and friendly. The office staff needs some work, however. On my first visit I apparently was overlooked and waited for 40 minutes before I was brought in for the initial exam. Today, I was supposed to have been asked the COVID screening questions by the person who checked me in over the phone but it didn’t happen and there was some annoying confusion when I walked in. On the other hand the tech staff were very helpful and answered all my questions.
I was on time and waited 2 1/2 hours to see my doctor.
Great staff
From entering the building until leaving all staff were professional and very friendly. All instructions were clear and I know what to expect on my next appointment.
I switched Drs because I got new insurance. I’m not very unhappy w/my experience. After my 1st appt I then got a $93 bill. Said it was for “fitting” I’ve worn contacts for over 30yrs & never had an additional charge. It’s always been $139 TOTAL for my contact/glasses exam. (At regular eye dr) Im very disappointed no-one made me aware that my ins wouldn’t cover what ever a fitting is & I get stuck w/a bill. Had I known, I would have simply stayed @ my office. It would have been nice if your office was more helpful and willing to look into my insurance instead of just telling us they would be on hold for a long time.
