I usually don’t review companies but I had the absolute worst experience ever and really needed to share. My husband and I were first time home owners and recently had a newborn when we realized our oil heat wasn’t working. We had a service contract with meenan and was informed it was unable to be fixed so we were referred to their sales department who sold us 5 mini splits for Heat and AC. Prices are always higher than what other people pay on the same day deliveries . Contracted price is only good for the first delivery , then they always charge the higher cap price
Our thermostat stopped working so no air-conditioning for a above 90 degree day.i called at 8:45 and was told a service man could be there between 12 and 4:00. The repair man arrived at 10:00 and we had a new thermostat installed in under an hour's time. He then gave a check of the heater and air conditioner unit. I have the air conditioner package so all this was accoplished with no additional charge to me. Fast relieable service gets my vote every time.
I have always had the greatest confidence in Meenan and have been a customer for about 12 years. My only regret is that I listened to their representative who sold me on a new boiler that was installed several months ago, by Meenan. Immediately there were problems. The installation was ill planned and ultimately required busting out a section of the brick wall of my home, in order to complete the installation. Tech was running late- he hung in there and troubleshot the issue. Need another tech or himself to come back and take care of some piping on the domestic coil on the boiler. He did cover the electrical control box on transformer to prevent any more trouble. GOOD JOB!!
Paul and Tony solves the problem replacing the Aquastat and mixing valve restoring boiler temperature and it solved our issue. Thanks for the great service. I will say calling the office for service continues to be a nightmare. The lady answering the phone wanted ME to open up the heater carbonate to diagnose the problem. Not a good idea when I pay $450 dollars for the service contract. She also told me it will take 8-9 hours (at 11am) for service to arrive since they have so many calls for no heat and OIL LEAKS consuming th... read more
Our furnace decided not to work. I called for service and I got a window from 6 to 9. About 20 minutes later I got a call from John and he said someone would be out by 5. Sooo happy as it was getting cold in the house.
