We went to Mel's for drinks...and the drinks were amazing!!! We will definitely be going back for dinner AND drinks soon.

We had the best experience at Mel’s for our Friendsgiving celebration! From the moment we walked in, the vibe was warm, welcoming, and true speakeasy–style cool. Our host set the tone immediately, friendly, attentive, and incredibly accommodating. She made sure our larger party had the perfect seating arrangement to enjoy the night comfortably. I went to Mel’s for the first time on my birthday and had a great time! The ambiance was lovely! I loved the low lights and they had good music playing. Also, the staff and the manager were very friendly people! Definitely will be going back.

My favorite spot in downtown Indy. Staff is wonderful. Drinks are perfection every time.

This was my first time eating at Mel’s. The ambience and service were great but the food was disappointing at best. The fried chicken sandwich was not very flavorful and the fry on it tasted like the oil was old. Was disappointed with the quality of food that was put out.
Live music was great and the atmosphere was incredible. We will be back!
Great location downtown. The drinks and service were amazing. 5 stars! The menu is very limited. The ambiance and decor are great. definitely will come back!
Sat at the bar, bartenders were very friendly and helped us craft drinks to our requests. Very nice upscale feel in ambiance but also welcoming.
