It probably isn't the quality one would want for photo prints, although not bad, it is a great printer. This is our second brother printer both MFCJ printers and they are great. We have had HP's and they just don't hold up.

Works great with excellent print. I bought this to replace my HP Photosmart 7520 printer that died. All of the HP replacements have gone to three colors in one cartridge. Having had one of those, I decided to look for a different brand. This model had everything that I was looking for. Setup was effortless. You have to accept the license and then tell it what kind of connection that you are using. If you are using a network connection, it searches and finds the printer. So far I'm loving it! I've had my new MFCJ5330DW printer for about 2 weeks now, and so far I'm loving it! I replaced an HP Deskjet 6700 which had all the same functions, but was a terrible printer. The brother is probably 10-20% larger than the all-in-one it's replacing, but not overly large. This printer is very solid and high quality. From the minute you take it out of the box, you find that there aren't little pieces of tape holding it all together and secure. Good for the money I have had a brother Multi Function Device for years. This is my second and I am very happy with it. The only feature change I would make would be to add the ability scan and copy legal size paper.
Love this Printer I'm extremely happy with this wireless printer. It was delivered promptly, and I was able to use it pretty much out of the box. Setting it up to "talk" to my personal router/modem was simple, and my computer was able to print to it even before the Brother drivers were loaded. The drivers are, however, required for scanning and faxing. Printing is fast, and while not the same quality as a laser printer, is good enough for most purposes. It's easy to use for beginners I have this printer at my job and it works amazingly. I have to fax, make copies, and print all the time and it has never messed up. It has an option for making a double side print automatically unlike most printers when you have to manually reload it. It's easy to use for beginners, I would recommend this to anyone.
