Not my Sister!! Oh Brother. I've been using Brother printers for many years. They last and print decently. I recently replaced my mfc-j4310dw since it was 10 yrs old and was starting to show its age. Quick and easy to use multifunction printer I have had a multifunction printer from every company for my home and office. It prints quickly, easy to use, and much better than a lot of the newer multifunction printers out there. Scanning is also easy and better app interfacing than others. Print quality is pretty good, not as good as Cannon’s but doesn’t go through Ink as quickly. Much better than HP’s slow and problematic newer printers.
Either printer is a work horse This printer seems to be a work horse (only had it for 2 weeks). Only negative opinion I have so far is that the quantity of photos isn’t as good as my last Csnon pixma printer.
Great printer Got so frustrated with my Canon All-in-one being “offline”, and having to reboot everything daily. The Brother is like a dream. Easy to set up, fast, always available to multiple computers on my network.

Uses Color even in Grayscale Stops printing when any color runs out. Even if you don't use color ink printer still uses up the color for Auto-Cleaning, can't prevent it. I never use color but I still have to buy color ink. I just wonder where all that ink is going inside the printer, and when it might leak out?
Very easy to set up and reliable printer! I live the quality of Brother much better than some of the other printers. Seems some other brands break down much sooner and are frustrating and impossible to fix. This time when purchasing a new printer/scanner/all-in-one, I decided to get a Brother because my old Brother has lasted for so many years and is always easy and reliable. Now I have two and happy with my choice! Thanks!
