Love the printer, but not happy with update. I have hand this printer since July 2019 and loved it, but the latest update has prevented some of the paper capabilities from working. According to the manual, tray 1 and 2 with print the same size papers, but now tray 1 does not give me the option of selecting all of them. THE WORST INVESTMENT EVER The worst printer I have ever purchased. I have to reprogram the printer every day that I use it!
MFC-J5945DW - HUGE mistake! I really did not want to switch to an ink jet from a laser printer but based upon reviews went ahead. My mistake! This printer jams all the time in duplex mode and I have wasted time and virtually all of the supplied ink just clearing jams and cleaning the "jets" instead of actually printing. If Brother does not replace ALL of the supplied four ink cartridges, I will return or junk this printer.
SLOW & UNRESPONSIVE The only nice comment I have is that the scanner works great, however, that is where the value in this machine stops. Our small office printer was purchased in Feb with a very high recommendation from an outside sales resource. When jobs are sent to the printing features from either an office pc or phone a "receiving data" message is displayed, which never goes away.
